If you are listed on Coliving.com and manage operations in Mangobeds, this integration keeps everything aligned, so your availability and booking info don’t turn into a manual nightmare.
How to get started
Important
If you were using iCal before to sync the availability, you no longer need it and should remove it
You need to create your listing in Coliving.com and its room types before following the steps below.
1) Generate your Coliving.com API key
Inside Coliving.com, generate your API key in the integrations section here: https://coliving.com/my/integrations
If you don’t see the option or need help, contact support@coliving.com.
2) Connect Coliving.com in Mangobeds
In Mangobeds, go to:
Apps → Coliving.com → Connect
Then add your Coliving.com API key
Save to connect.
Map your accommodations
Once connected, you’ll need to match your setup so everything syncs correctly:
- Access the Coliving.com app inside Mangobeds
- Map each Mangobeds accommodation to the correct Coliving.com room type
This step is important—if room types aren’t mapped properly, you risk syncing the wrong information.
Set and sync your rates (base + monthly)
You can now manage your base rates and monthly rates directly in Mangobeds and sync them with Coliving.com.
To do it, go to:
Apps → Coliving.com
Inside the Coliving.com app, you can:
- Set your base rates
- Set your monthly rates
- Sync those rates to Coliving.com
What syncs automatically
After mapping is complete, Mangobeds will automatically sync:
- Availability
- Rates (base + monthly)
- Booking information
- Messages — receive and send guest messages directly from Mangobeds, so you don’t need to switch to the Coliving.com extranet to reply
So when something changes on one side, you’re not stuck updating the other one manually.
Manually sync bookings
If you need to import reservations on demand (for example after connecting the integration or fixing a mapping), you can trigger a manual sync.
Go to:
Apps → Coliving.com → Settings → Sync bookings
This will pull all current and future bookings from Coliving.com into Mangobeds.
Important
Before running the manual sync, make sure your room types are already mapped to the correct accommodations.
If the mapping is not done first, bookings may be imported into the wrong units or not imported at all.
Coming from iCal? Here’s what changed
If you were previously syncing Coliving.com availability via iCal, it’s worth understanding what’s different — so the new setup makes sense.
With iCal, the sync happened at the individual room/unit level. Each room needed its own iCal link, which meant multiple iCal connections per unit and a lot of manual overhead to keep things in order.
With the direct integration, the sync happens at the accommodation → room type level. You map a Mangobeds accommodation (which holds all your units of a given type) to a Coliving.com room type. One mapping covers the whole group — no per-room links needed.
This is actually an improvement. Mangobeds now tracks availability across all individual units within an accommodation automatically. When a booking arrives from Coliving.com, it gets assigned to an available unit on its own — nothing manual required.
So if your rooms appear grouped as a block rather than listed individually, that’s expected and correct. The integration handles unit-level assignment behind the scenes.
Once the direct integration is active, remove all your old Coliving.com iCal links — you won’t need them anymore.
Wrap-up
